Healthcare Assistant with Priory Group in Permanent - Full Time is a people-focused role involving work to based in the residential area of Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire, Priory Hospital Dewsbury provides level 2 rehabilitation services divided into two wards.

Responsibilities: The advert points to we also offer neuropsychiatry support, support for older people and dementia, community-focused rehabilitation, and support for severe and enduring mental health, provide support to acute patients within our dementia services, for those who require an alternative setting to an acute psychiatric ward, help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future, and Provide specific interventions with patients as delegated by a Registered Nurse, and following training and competency attainment, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring although Dewsbury is not a 24/7 acute hospital, are well-placed to provide support to acute patients within dementia services, for those who require an alternative setting to an acute psychiatric ward, As a Healthcare Assistant, will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients, and Encouraging patients who require assistance with intimate personal needs such as dressing, bathing and toileting activities.
