Last Updated: [29-09-2025]

1. Introduction

Welcome to Stafty. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“user”, “you”, “your”) and Stafty Ltd (“Stafty”, “we”, “our”, “us”). They govern your access to and use of Stafty’s websites, apps, and related services (the “platform”).

By creating an account, using Stafty, or accessing any of its features, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using Stafty immediately.

Stafty may amend these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the new version.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old or the minimum age of digital consent in your country.

  • Organisations may only register through authorised representatives.

  • Stafty may refuse or suspend accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.

3. Your account and security

  • You must keep your login credentials confidential.

  • You must not share your account with others.

  • You are responsible for all activities on your account.

  • Notify support@stafty.com immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

  • Stafty is not liable for losses caused by your failure to secure your account.

4. Your responsibilities and warranties

By using Stafty, you confirm that:

  • Information you provide is accurate and lawful.

  • You will not post or share content that breaches any law or rights of others.

  • You will verify information before relying on it.

  • You will comply with employment, equality, and data protection laws.

  • You take full responsibility for contracts, applications, or transactions with others.

5. Prohibited activities

You must not:

  • Post illegal, harmful, false, or defamatory content.

  • Harass, threaten, or incite violence.

  • Share explicit sexual or violent material.

  • Exploit minors or vulnerable persons.

  • Impersonate others or misrepresent yourself.

  • Upload malware, attempt hacking, or misuse systems.

  • Scrape or mass-harvest data.

  • Spam or misuse messaging.

  • Post discriminatory or unsafe opportunities.

6. Stafty’s rights and moderation

  • Stafty may monitor, review, restrict, or remove content at our discretion.

  • Stafty may suspend or terminate accounts without notice for breaches.

  • Stafty may disclose data to regulators or law enforcement where required.

  • We may update, change, or withdraw features without liability.

  • Moderation decisions are final. Appeals may be made to appeals@stafty.com.

7. Intellectual property

  • You retain ownership of content you upload.

  • By posting, you grant Stafty a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and share your content for the purpose of operating the platform.

  • This licence continues until you delete content, except for backup copies.

  • Stafty’s brand, software, and trademarks remain our exclusive property.

8. Plans and subscriptions

  • Stafty may offer free and paid subscription plans.

  • By subscribing, you agree to pay applicable fees.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal.

  • Payments are non-refundable except where required by UK law.

  • Prices may change with advance notice. Continued use means acceptance.

  • Stafty may suspend subscriptions for non-payment or misuse.

  • Service interruptions do not entitle refunds.

9. No guarantees and disclaimers

  • Stafty is provided “as is” and “as available”.

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

  • We do not guarantee jobs, contracts, or outcomes.

  • Content is user-generated and may not be verified.

  • Stafty is not a party to contracts between users.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • All implied warranties are excluded.

  • Stafty is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

  • Stafty is not liable for downtime, misuse, or third-party actions.

  • Our liability in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £100 or the total fees paid to Stafty.

Nothing excludes liability for fraud or death or injury caused by negligence.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Stafty Ltd, its officers, employees, and partners from all claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including full legal fees) arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms or law.

  • Your content or activity on Stafty.

  • Claims that your content infringes rights.

  • Your conduct, disputes, or contracts with other users.

This obligation continues after account closure.

12. Report abuse

If you see harmful or unlawful content, use the in-platform report function or email report@stafty.com with evidence.

      • Stafty reviews abuse reports in order of severity, with safety risks prioritised.
      • Stafty may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or refer matters to authorities.
      • Reporting does not guarantee removal, but Stafty acts at its discretion to protect the community.
      • Abuse of the reporting system may itself lead to account action.

      13. Termination and suspension

      • You may close your account at any time.

      • Stafty may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, breach, or legal reasons.

      • Stafty may retain records where legally required.

      • Termination does not affect rights accrued prior to closure.

      14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

      15. Additional provisions

      • No waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not waive it.

      • Severability: If one clause is invalid, the rest remain valid.

      • Assignment: Stafty may assign its rights and obligations; you may not without consent.

      • Force majeure: Stafty is not liable for events outside our control.

      • Entire agreement: These Terms form the entire agreement between you and Stafty.

      • Survival: Provisions on liability, indemnity, and governing law survive account closure.
