Responsibilities: The advert points to provide meaningful companionship at our supported living services in Brent, make a real difference to the lives of people with support needs while working alongside our team to deliver truly person-centred care, As a Quiz Volunteer, you’ll spend time with the people we support, providing meaningful social interaction, conversation, and companionship through regular quiz sessions, and The post holder will help create a welcoming and inclusive environment where participants can enjoy themselves, build confidence, and connect with others, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Employment details: Volunteer Duties: – Meet on a regular basis – Prepare and organise quiz questions and materials for quiz sessions – Host and facilitate quizzes, ensuring participants are engaged and included – Serve refreshments such as tea and coffee during events – Help set up the venue before activities and ensure it is welcoming and ready for participants – Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment throughout the event – Assist with clearing away equipment, washing up, and tidying the venue after the session – Report any safeguarding concerns to Creative Support staff members – Understand and work within Creative Support Policies and procedures, respecting boundaries – Attend regular supervisions with your allocated volunteer supervisor and complete any training provided Hours: Preferably Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, Wednesday, 4:30pm Application Instructions: can also download a copy of application form using the links above.
