Responsibilities: The advert points to recruit a highly motivated individual who will support the delivery of early intervention work with children in conflict with the law, social workers plans where young people’s needs are more complex, provide support for those involved in Court processes and gather children and families’ views about early intervention options prior to decisions being made about them, and support and enhance our delivery of Restorative Justice Practice, the post holder will also receive training in facilitating Restorative Justice and provide an independent facilitator role within the process, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring someone with experience of multi-agency working and knowledge of key policies such as GIRFEC and the Whole Systems Approach (WSA), Essential HNC or equivalent SVQ qualification A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post, and In particular from candidates who assess themselves as having a disability, under the Disability Confident Employer scheme this guarantees an interview to those individuals who meet the essential criteria of the post.
