Responsibilities: The advert points to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city and The post holder will develop and introduce a range of programmes/interventions, events and festivals and identify opportunities to improve the services and increase lifelong participation for Dundee children.The IndividualYou will have practical experience in sports coaching and organising participation programmes, events and festivals is essential, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring in addition, candidates should have sports coaching experience, experience in organising sport and physical activity programmes and events and experience of engaging with children and young people through sport and physical activity, Line Manager approval should be sought prior to applying for a secondment.RequirementsSVQ Level 3 in a Sport or physical activity related field and/or work-related experience.ResponsibilitiesAs part of a dynamic Leisure and Sport Section, will contribute to the section’s social objectives by developing programmes and activities with schools within the Active Schools services, develop and introduce a range of programmes/interventions, events and festivals and identify opportunities to improve the services and increase lifelong participation for Dundee children.The IndividualYou will have practical experience in sports coaching and organising participation programmes, events and festivals is essential, and In addition will have experience of supporting coaches or volunteers and marketing and promoting activities / programmes.
