Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring must hold either a BA (Hons) in Social Work or equivalent; be registered with the SSSC; have experience of working with relevant IT packages and dealing with clients who have substance misuse problems; possess sound assessment and interpersonal skills; have knowledge of current Council policy and statutory legislation, NHS & Community Care Act, Children (Scotland) Act and Social Work (Scotland) Acts; and the ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing), work on your own initiative, and prioritise your own workload.
