Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring what ’ll Do Carry out a wide range of road maintenance and construction tasks Lay paving slabs, kerbs, concrete and asphalt Undertake drainage works Set up and remove temporary traffic management (signs, cones, barriers) Support winter maintenance, including gritting, snow clearance and flood response Summer standby; weather - flood response, general enquiries Operate plant and machinery such as rollers, mini excavators, disc cutters, tractors and breakers What ’re Looking For Practical, hands-on approach with a focus on safety Educated to SCQF Level 4 (e.g National Certificate/higher) or equivalent CSCS Card or commitment to obtain in 6 months Current and Valid Operative Level New Roads and Streetworks Qualification or commitment to obtain in 6 months and Have relevant Health and Safety Training in construction Ability to work as part of a team in all weather conditions A full driving licence is highly desirable Interest in gaining further qualifications – opportunities for goods vehicle training are available What Offer Permanent, full-time employment Training and development opportunities Work that directly supports local communities All required personal protective equipment provided Want to Know More?.
