Activities Volunteer with Creative Support in line with their interests, making them inclusive and accessible for all is a people-focused role involving work to help staff set up and run activity sessions for the people support at supported living services in Telford.

Responsibilities: The advert points to help staff set up and run activity sessions for the people we support at our supported living services in Telford, make a real difference to the lives of people with support needs while working alongside our team to deliver truly person centred care, plan a programme of activities in line with their interests, making them inclusive and accessible for all, and Most importantly, the post holder will take part in the sessions and engage in conversation with the people we support, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring an outgoing, confident person with strong communication skills.

Employment details: Volunteer duties: – Consult people support to plan engaging activities in line with their interests – Prepare for activities including set-up, moving tables and chairs if necessary – Lead and take part in activity sessions, engaging with people support – Tidy up after activities, returning the room to normal – Report any safeguarding concerns to Creative Support staff members – Understand and work within Creative Support Policies and procedures, respecting boundaries – Attend regular supervisions with your allocated volunteer supervisor and complete any training provided Hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays or Sundays Application Instructions: To apply, please read the job description and then complete the online application form using the links above.
