JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direction of the Team Leader, Sport & Physical Activity develop Community Sports Hubs (CSH) in specific areas of South Ayrshire, and develop strong, sustainable, safe and inclusive sports clubs that support local communities and provide a pathway for people to participate, progress and go on to achieve in sport.

This post is offered initially as a two-year fixed-term contract, with funding in place to support a potential extension of up to five years in total.

REQUIREMENTS This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. This post is temporary until 30/06/2028.

The successful candidate will primarily work from home with occasional travel within the South Ayrshire area. Frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
