Responsibilities: The advert points to today, we operate over 70 services in communities across Scotland, providing mental health social care support, addictions and employment services, among others, Joining this team means being at the forefront of innovative income generation efforts that directly support SAMH’s mission, deliver excellent stewardship journeys Essential Experience of presenting to/communicating with different audiences Essential Experience of using CRMs/databases to maintain and monitor quality data Desirable Experience in Business Development and identifying prospects, and develop and maintain effective working relationships with groups and individuals with differing perspectives and agendas, using strong negotiation and persuasive skills Essential Excellent planning and organisational skills to deliver work to agreed timescales and standards, and manage multiple competing priorities / deadlines Essential Good IT skills, with emphasis on safe, respectful support. Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring what are looking for: Demonstrable success in account managing mutually beneficial partnerships Essential Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets (preferably income) Essential Proven track record of understanding donor/client priorities in order to deliver excellent stewardship journeys Essential Experience of presenting to/communicating with different audiences Essential Experience of using CRMs/databases to maintain and monitor quality data Desirable Experience in Business Development and identifying prospects, Essential Fundraising principles and Codes of Practice Essential Current trends in the fundraising environment Essential Understanding of the mental health context in Scotland Desirable Demonstrable ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with groups and individuals with differing perspectives and agendas, using strong negotiation and persuasive skills Essential Excellent planning and organisational skills to deliver work to agreed timescales and standards, and manage multiple competing priorities / deadlines Essential Good IT skills, and Competent in the use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and also social media.
