Responsibilities: The advert points to the post holder will contribute towards the operation, maintenance, design and management of over 400 structures throughout the city including listed structures such as the Albert Bridge (built 1871), modern iconic structures such as the Clyde Arc (built 2006), the Group Manager (Structures) the post holder will lead a team responsible for the design, management, maintenance and operation of the city’s road related structures, other services in support of the council’s wider strategic aims and be a key link between internal and external stakeholders, and develop and maintain effective partnership working, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring applicants must have good collaboration skills to develop and maintain effective partnership working and have experience of delivering a range of engineering projects in constrained urban environments and be skilled in improving performance and achieving excellence.
