Responsibilities: The advert points to support the delivery of high-quality social work services within our team, Our team has 2 Assistant Team Managers, 1 aligned to Manage our expanding Kinship Service and this new post to Manage our registered services; fostering, adoption and supported carers, work alongside the Team Manager to support successful implementation of our Closer to Home Strategic vision, and the service growth and development, and achieve positive outcomes for vulnerable children and our caring families, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring the successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, ability to work alongside the Team Manager to support successful implementation of Closer to Home Strategic vision, and the service growth and development, This is an excellent opportunity for a confident social worker ready to take the next step into leadership, Promote a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement Build strong working relationships with multi-agency partners and stakeholders About are looking for someone who is: Essential: Qualified Social Worker with current SSSC registration Significant post-qualification experience in social work specifically in the areas of registered services, and Experience of supervising or mentoring staff Strong knowledge of safeguarding, legislation, and risk management Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills Desirable: Previous experience in a senior practitioner or management role Previous experience of working in a Family Placement Team assessing and supporting registers caregiving families.
