Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring mAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible to assist in the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments • Responsible for washing up used utensils, pans and crockery in the dishwasher, hand washing certain items as appropriate • To clean kitchen work surfaces, equipment, floors, fridges, freezers and other storage cupboards in line with cleaning schedules and record as instructed • Responsible to ensure all equipment is stored away and the kitchen left clean and tidy at the end of each shift • Reporting of equipment faults, repair and maintenance needs in line with local procedures • Monitoring and reporting supplies requirements • To record all information as required by Brainkind policies and procedures • To ensure that meals and refreshments are attractive to service users and in line with Brainkind standards • To assist the Head Chef and Chef to provide services that meet the Brainkind and regulatory body standards • Facilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service, is expected to maintain a safe working environment, maintain service user confidentiality, and occasionally taking on reasonable additional tasks ABOUT : • Level 2 food hygiene certificate or willing and able to complete within 2 weeks of starting employment • Able to work as part of a team • Able to communicate verbally and in writing • Able to work within policies and procedures Experience of working in a similar environment Rewards: can look forward to excellent benefits including: • A competitive rate of £13.28 per hour • 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays • Buy and sell up to 5 days annual leave • Simply Health Plan; helps to cover the cost of routine healthcare treatments, ** *All successful candidates are subject to compliance checks including 3 years of.
