Responsibilities: The advert points to help shape the highest standards in patient care, role model good practice and develop your colleagues, As a Orthopaedic and spinal clinical lead at our Manor Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and experience, and As the Clinical Lead the post holder will need to: ?Clinical Leadership & Practice Standards Provide expert professional and clinical leadership to Orthopaedic theatre teams Act as the specialist lead for orthopaedic surgical procedures and theatre workfl ows Set, monitor, and maintain high standards of peri-operative care in line with national guidance, Trust policies, and SOPs Demonstrate visible leadership, promoting professionalism, accountability, and a culture of safety Governance, Quality & Patient Safety Lead clinical governance within orthopaedic theatres Ensure compliance with WHO surgical safety standards, infection prevention, implant traceability, and documentation Lead investigations into incidents, complications, and near misses, ensuring timely reporting and learning Embed learning from audits, incidents, and GIRFT recommendations into clinical practice Insuring NGR compliance and submissions, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
