Responsibilities: The advert points to by supporting colleagues and simply being there when it matters, you’ll help us create the best possible patient experience, help us build a healthier nation, As an Orthopaedic Clinical Leader: Ensure the efficient running of the orthopaedic team, support and Deputise for the Clinical Head of Department (as required), and succeed Co-ordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalised care Apply your knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning and delivery Champion a supportive, enabling working culture on the ward, promoting staff safety and education Have SFA or SCP experience As our Clinical Leader, the post holder will: Conduct and organize the Orthopaedic Clinical and the wider team within theatre, which include the smooth running of the theatre lists and organizing booking forms and assisting sessions in theatres Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department, which include Endoscopy, General, Orthopaedics, Gynae, ENT, Recovery and Anaesthetics Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department, including safety and risk management, quality improvement and ensure policies and procedure, to enhance patient care and service delivery, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
