Responsibilities: The advert points to the supervision of groups of 5 people with convictions, who will be undertaking unpaid work within the community, provide effective customer service, including dealing with difficult situations, ensure that you are able to maintain the Renfrewshire Children’s Services commitment to continuous improvement, and undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring it is essential that have experience of working with the public, including the delivery of a front line service, record keeping and dealing with people from diverse backgrounds, must be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing; have organisational and time management skills; and the ability to provide effective customer service, including dealing with difficult situations, have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative; have a positive view of the welfare of all individuals and social circumstances; and have a responsible approach to sensitive information, and Experience of working within a social work setting, gardening and environmental work, DIY and arts and crafts is desirable.
