Responsibilities: The advert points to maintain and record children’s assessment progress and to promote parental participation, demonstrate an ability to plan and deliver a relevant and inclusive curriculum, and undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring must hold a relevant practice qualification in early learning and childcare such as HNC in Childhood practice at SCQF level 7 or SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 7 or equivalent as defined by SSSC, It is essential have experience of working or training in an early learning and childcare setting, have an awareness of assessment and documentation of children’s learning in line with national and local guidance and be able to demonstrate an ability to plan and deliver a relevant and inclusive curriculum, and must be able to demonstrate knowledge of child development and have the ability to work flexibility to meet the needs of the service.

Employment details: Please note that being appointed to the Supply Register does not guarantee any minimum hours per week; pay is calculated based on actual hours worked and It is essential have experience of working or training in an early learning and childcare setting, have an awareness of assessment and documentation of children’s learning in line with national and local guidance and be able to demonstrate an ability to plan and deliver a relevant and inclusive curriculum.
