Early Learning & Childcare Officer (Temporary)(Term Time Full Time) - REN14723 with Renfrewshire Council in an early learning and childcare setting is a people-focused role involving work to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Early Learning and Childcare Officer.

Responsibilities: The advert points to maintain and record children’s assessment progress and to promote parental participation, demonstrate an ability to plan and deliver a relevant and inclusive curriculum, and undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring it is essential have experience of working or training in an early learning and childcare setting, have an awareness of assessment and documentation of children’s learning in line with national and local guidance and be able to demonstrate an ability to plan and deliver a relevant and inclusive curriculum, must be able to demonstrate knowledge of child development and have the ability to work flexibility to meet the needs of the service, and must hold a relevant practice qualification in early learning and childcare such as HNC in Childhood practice at SCQF level 7 or SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 7 or equivalent.
