Responsibilities: The advert points to develop your career as an Empty Homes Officer with West Lothian Council? and The post holder will assist the Housing Strategy and New Supply Manager and the Planning and Coordination Officers within a vibrant environment in developing, leading and progressing the council’s strategy for identifying empty and vacant properties from the private sector within the context of the council’s Empty Homes Framework, the Local Housing Strategy (LHS), the Strategic Housing Investment Plan and the West Lothian Homeless Strategy, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Employment details: An opportunity has arisen within the Housing Strategy and Development Team for an Empty Homes Officer to join a team which strives for excellence and innovation in service delivery and works well with partners and The Housing Strategy and Development Team is one of six service units within Housing, Customer and Building Services providing a wide range of services including the delivery of the affordable housing programme, the housing capital investment programme and the development of housing policy and strategy for the service.
