Responsibilities: The advert points to allow you to most effectively lead our team, As a Endoscopy Lead Practitioner/Nurse, the post holder will: Support the Theatre Manager in the efficient running of the Endoscopy Unit, inspections and quality improvement initiatives, and infection control standards Provide clinical support and guidance to patients throughout their journey Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring as an Endoscopy Lead Practitioner/Nurse at The Holly Hospital, will be either NMC or HCPC registered will have the relevant qualifications and substantive post-registration experience in the care of patients within Endoscopy, demonstrating excellent leadership skills to allow to most effectively lead team, Strong knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols and a working knowledge of JAG and Endoscopy Decontamination are essential, be capable of leading the unit through the JAG re-accreditation process so preparation, maintenance and ongoing compliance are a must have too!, and Co-ordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety Have expert knowledge of endoscopic procedures including OGD, Colonoscopy and therapeutic procedures such as BRAVO capsule, Upper and Lower GI Dilatation and Stenting, Banding and Botox injections Assist in the preparation and delivery of endoscopic procedures Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards Provide clinical support and guidance to patients throughout their journey Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies.
