FT Active Schools Co-ordinator - 479424 with Live Active Leisure is a people-focused role involving work to join the Active Schools team.

Responsibilities: The advert points to work closely with key partners to provide high-quality opportunities for children and young people to take part in sport and physical activity, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring have extensive experience of engaging with children and young people within education, sport, health, community, leisure and/or recreation settings, along with experience of managing and working with volunteers, be degree-qualified or have equivalent experience, and be able to clearly demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the aims of the Active Schools Network, Excellent communication skills are essential, and PVG Scheme Membership is essential.

Employment details: A key focus for the team is breaking down barriers and being creative in how engage with children and young people who would benefit most from opportunities to be physically active.
