Health and Wellbeing Worker- Victoria Road Nursery (Re advertisement) - GLA15616 with Glasgow in Glasgow is a people-focused role involving work to young people with additional support needs.

Responsibilities: The advert points to young people with additional support needs, ensure the provision of health care support to children and young people with complex medical conditions in order to maintain health and support access to the curriculum, be competent in the delivery of tasks to support daily living which can include tracheotomy care and suction, catheterisation, support for children that are oxygen dependent and the delivery of individualised feeding programmes, and provide support and guidance to support staff in the delivery of tasks to support specific health conditions, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring have excellent communication and organisational skills and experience of working within an educational/care environment and Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment.
