Job Description Start Date: 10 August 2026 Hours: Up to 7.29 hours per week Contract: Permanent Salary: £41,833 - £50,359 per annum pro rata West Lothian College are looking to appoint an outstanding hairdressing lecturer who will demonstrate the necessary commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to their team. Working within the friendly and knowledgeable team within the Business, Creative and Enterprise Centre, the post holder will be committed to the delivery of high quality teaching and a varied learning experience, focussed on progression and employability. Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer to contribute to the delivery and assessment of a range of courses from SCQF Level 4 to Level 7.

Further context from the advert indicates that the post holder will develop course materials for online and face to face learning, work flexibly and collaborate effectively with other members of the College. Applicants should be educated in hairdressing and hold an SVQ Level 3 in hairdressing (SCQF Level 6) and/or an Assessor qualification.
