Responsibilities: The advert points to as a key member of the team, the post holder will support the department in the provision of pharmacy services including ordering, stock control and preparation of drugs and medicines, provide an exemplary specialist technical service to support the pharmacy department and other areas of the hospital that stock medicines, working within own level of competence and in accordance with current legislation, accepted professional and ethical standards and Spire Healthcare policies and procedures, and maintain appropriate stock levels Assist with the procurement of pharmaceutical stock for the pharmacy and other departments using appropriate electronic systems Participate in pharmacy and departmental stock takes Provide general administrative support to the department Contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines, ensuring cost efficiency, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
