Responsibilities: The advert points to you’ll join our Pharmacy team as a technician, bringing relevant experience and a NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy services skills where you’ll become part of a knowledgeable team and support the efficient running of the service and monitor stock levels within the Pharmacy department to maintain appropriate stock levels To assist with the procurement of pharmaceutical stock for the pharmacy and other departments using appropriate electronic systems To receive goods in appropriately checking against purchase orders/delivery notes, dealing with issues/anomalies as they arise and escalating appropriately To carry out dispensing of medicines accurately selecting the correct quantity of medicine required and assembling, labelling and processing them in a safe, efficient and timely manner To provide day to day support and guidance to Pharmacy staff as appropriate To effectively co-ordinate and undertake activities to support the efficient working of the pharmacy service£ To succeed as a Pharmacy Technician, the post holder will: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council Experience either within a hospital or community pharmacy, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
