Project Manager – Health and Transport Action Plan - 478756 - The Highlands and Islands Transport Partnership (HITRANS) Project Manager – Health and Transport Action Plan - 478756 with The Highlands and Islands Transport Partnership (HITRANS) is a people-focused role involving work to develop a Health and Transport Action Plan (HTAP) for the region. Responsibilities: The advert points to develop a Health and Transport Action Plan (HTAP) for the region, then support the Steering Group partners deliver priority actions In conjunction with partner organisations the postholder will help shape the priorities for the HTAP, These are expected to include: · Improving joint working between partners, to help implement schemes with a better shared understanding of issues and priorities; · Helping share knowledge between partners, including of the scale of problems and of the effectiveness of potential interventions; · Raising awareness of key issues amongst local, regional and national decision makers; · Making the case for increased investment to deliver improved outcomes; and · Delivering new initiatives and improvements identified within the Action Plan, and support the work of the HTAP and the implementation or business case of priority actions, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
