The Assessor is responsible for compiling and maintaining the Valuation List, consisting of all dwellings in Ayrshire liable for Council Tax, and is seeking talented property professionals looking for a long-term career in the public sector.
You will inspect / survey residential properties, interpret sales evidence, and carry out statutory valuations for Council Tax purposes. You will explain such valuations to taxpayers, and will present your evidence at tribunal hearings, acting as “expert witness”.
