Responsibilities: The advert points to support creative approaches to learning, with a range of adaptive teaching spaces, date and digitally enabled classrooms, there is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) wing, a Learning Resource Centre, extensive facilities to support the arts, and a state of the art sport and leisure complex, support collaboration between a range of professionals and sectors, and demonstrate that they can: Communicate clearly and kindly with young people to help reduce any barriers to presence, participation and achievement in school Work as part of the team around children with ASN, building and maintaining strong relationships in the wider school community Exhibit the interpersonal skills required to play a full part in safeguarding and nurturing young people, offering the right balance of challenge and support Use their initiative and work responsively to meet the needs of the young people in their care Commit to viewing themselves as a lifelong learning, seeking out and taking up opportunities to continually improve their practice The successful candidate will be at the forefront of a growing school community and have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to young people’s lives, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
