Scottish Fire and Rescue Service with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service in Estates Surveyor is a people-focused role involving work to estates Surveyor The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would like to invite applications for the post of Estates Surveyor; this is a permanent position working 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities: The advert points to they will assist in the Estate Management of the SFRS Property Estate which covers various properties across the whole of mainland and island Scotland and Specifically, they will assist in the production of the annual Asset Valuation, Landlord and Tenant Management, Non-Domestic Rates, Title queries and general day today management of a diverse estate, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring previous experience of commercial/public sector property valuation particularly with Discounted Replacement Cost, Experience in negotiating and agreeing leases and lease variations, general agreements, wayleaves and servitudes, Experience in negotiations and organisation of property disposal and acquisitions, and Applicants will require to be a full member of the RICS and hold Registered Valuer status.
Employment details: Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to regular review - in line with the SFRS performance appraisal arrangements and A higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
