Responsibilities: The advert points to whether it’s driving connecting health, helping the nation, transforming experiences or building the career you want – we give you the support to do it all, As a Senior Software Engineer, the post holder will: Ensure high quality software is designed, delivered and operated in line with enterprise strategy and product/business goals, working within agile delivery Work collaboratively as part of a multi-functional team, contributing to the running, maintaining, improving and evolution of digital solutions (primary the AEM website) for the benefit of Nuffield Health users Support the operation and day-to-day stability of digital solutions the team are responsible for, including component and page development, and site performance Operate within a community of developers and architects, contributing value through knowledge sharing, innovation and adherence to technical standards — particularly around AEM best practices, component architecture and front-end integration Support and mentor associate and mid-level software engineers within the team, sharing AEM expertise and contributing to the wider growth of engineering capability As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll bring (Skills & Experience Required): Demonstrable experience developing in AEM 6.x and Java, implementing Templates, Components, Dialogs, and Workflows, preferably using AEM as a Cloud service, and Experience of communicating and documenting technical design proposals, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.
