Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring essential in helping us deliver the highest standards of patient care and ensuring hospital runs smoothly, safely and efficiently, This is a flexible bank position, ideal for individuals looking to balance work with other commitments while contributing to exceptional patient experience, and Duties and Responsibilities: To transfer and guide patients safely around the hospital, as required, in a caring, sympathetic and professional manner Move clinical equipment, medical supplies, goods and other items as required Responsible for the safe management of the collection and disposal of waste, both domestic and clinical in line with corporate and hospital policy WM01 Support clinical teams by maintaining a clean, safe and organised environment Respond promptly to portering requests and prioritise tasks effectively Deliver excellent customer service to patients, visitors and colleagues Uphold safety, infection-control and patient-handling standards Report any maintenance issues to the Maintenance department Complete additional portering and facilities tasks to support smooth running of the hospital Who 're looking for: Experience of working in a similar role and delivering frontline customer service Good communication and organisational skills Excellent customer care skills Ability to work without supervision Caring and sympathetic Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends.
