Responsibilities: The advert points to fill 1x17 hour Leisure Attendant Post, which will cover a wide range of duties within the facility, work as part of a team carrying out general leisure attendant duties ensuring customer safety at all times including ice stewarding, communicating effectively with members of the public and other staff, undertaking cleaning duties and setting up and dismantling of sports equipment in a safe environment, assisting in the ice making process and assisting with general maintenance tasks, The post holder will assist in actively promoting Dumfries Ice Bowl and Leisure and Sport activities at all times, and This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring require a passionate and enthusiastic individual to work as part of a team carrying out general leisure attendant duties ensuring customer safety at all times including ice stewarding, communicating effectively with members of the public and other staff, undertaking cleaning duties and setting up and dismantling of sports equipment in a safe environment, assisting in the ice making process and assisting with general maintenance tasks, Experience of working with the general public, children and customer care is essential and will ideally have experience of working in a Leisure Centre, and A First Aid certificate, basic leisure qualification and the ability to skate are desirable.
