School Technician (Temporary)(Part Time) - REN14928 with Renfrewshire Council in Science and other whole school areas is a people-focused role involving work to aDVERT School Technician will be working in a busy secondary school environment.

Responsibilities: The advert points to duties include preparing woodwork and metalwork materials and teaching resources for use by teachers and students, mainly within the technical department and on occasion, in Science and other whole school areas, The post holder will assist the teaching staff within the technical department by preparing materials and equipment for classes and will support the use of raw materials, plus computer aided teaching resources within Technical, Science and other departments where required, On occasion you may assist with setting up and maintaining of Audio Visual equipment, and the Technical department or any other department within the school as requested by the Head Teacher/ Education Support Manager / Department Head or Nominee, with emphasis on safe, respectful support.

Requirements: Suitable applicants may bring experience with using industrial equipment, machinery and tools would be advantageous, be educated to HNC level or have relevant experience, and In addition, it is expected that has a good knowledge of relevant Health and Safety regulations.
